About Me

Who am I?

Hi! I'm Francielly Rodrigues, a HCI VR/AR/MR researcher with a Ph.D. in Computational Modeling from Brazil's National Laboratory of Scientific Computing. I also hold a Master's in Computational Modeling from the same institution and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the Federal University of São João del Rei (UFSJ), Brazil.

My work was advised by Dr. Jauvane C. de Oliveira and Dr. Doug Bowman. As a visiting researcher at Virginia Tech, I had the opportunity to collaborate with the 3D Interaction Group under the guidance of Dr. Doug Bowman at the Center for Human-Computer Interaction.

My expertise lies in 3D interaction techniques for immersive environments, with a specialization in the design, implementation, and evaluation of precise manipulation techniques. My research interests intersect the fields of Human-Computer Interaction, Virtual and Augmented Reality, 3D User Interfaces, and Artificial Intelligence.
